Outre par ses parents, il fut prédécédé par son fils Jean-Marc (Kathy). Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Michel, Jocelyne (Rick), Daniel (Kim) et Nathalie (Mario); la mère de ses enfants, Julienne De Repentigny; ses petits-enfants: Damien, Elizabeth, Sean, Natasha, Jessica, Melissa, Amanda, Christine, Rachel et Sébastien et ses 4 arrière-petits-enfants. Il laisse également ses soeurs: Claudette (Réal) et Francine; son frère Marcel (feu Charlene), ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis. Il fut prédécédé par sa soeur Denise (feu Willy) et ses frères: Raymond et Robert (Wendy). La famille invite parents et amis à la Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier 180 ch. Montréal, Ottawa (613-241-3680) le jeudi 30 octobre 2008 à compter de 16h. Un service en mémoire de M. Whissell sera célébré en la chapelle de la maison funéraire à 17h. He will be missed by his sisters Claudette (Real) and Francine, his brother Marcel (late Charlene) as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.
