  Ottawa Citizen 4 Jan 2023 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Lavoie, on December 20, 2022, at the age of 70, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Ottawa on February 5, 1952, to Edgar Lavoie and Eugénie Lavoie (Trépanier). The youngest of 5 siblings: Gérard, Jacques (Enid Berezin), Jacqueline Girard Jubinville (Paul), and Hélène. Beloved aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Loving mother to her 3 daughters: Lee Ann MacIsaac (Vincent), Michelle and Sylvie Dupras. Adored grandmother to Kynan Dupras (Mallory). Cherished best friend to Caroline Charest. Gone too soon, but forever in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2023. In memory of Carole, please plant flowers, hang a bird feeder, and be kind to nature and the environment.
